The Science of Mind
By Ernest Holmes
The Science of Mind is a book written by Ernest Holmes (January 21, 1887- April 7,1960). It brings forth a science and a clear and concise depiction of the relationship between Humanity and God. Holmes, the founder of Religious Science, originally published the book in 1926, with an expanded revision by both Holmes and Maude Allison Latham in 1938. The book details how people can actively engage their mind in creating change throughout their lives. It includes explanations of how to pray and meditate, healing oneself spiritually, finding self-confidence, and expressing love. Although Christ-oriented, the teachings apply to all faiths and spiritual persuasions. Ernest Holmes believed that Religious Science is a philosophy, a faith, and a way of life; not unlike Spiritualism. This edition includes both the original 1926 and the revised 1938 versions of The Science of Mind.
